A boy for Marco & Lara

More than three months after they got married at a sunset Christian garden wedding in Tagaytay, Marco Alcaraz and Precious Lara Quigaman became the happy parents of a bouncing 7.8-pound boy Lara delivered by Caesarian section at 12:52 p.m. last Saturday, Nov. 10, at Asian Hospital in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

The baby is named Noah Lamar.

“Noah is Lara’s favorite character in The Bible while Lamar is a combination of the first syllables of her name and my name,” explained Marco.

It was The STAR who reported in a scoop that the couple was having a baby, confirmed by Lara herself during the wedding reception. Marco even joked a few days before the wedding that “may isang lalaking manggugulo” (a man is creating trouble), referring to the baby who couldn’t stop moving inside Lara’s tummy.

Already almost five months pregnant at that time, Lara beautifully concealed her tummy under her gown fit for a Miss International (2005).
