Rock 4 Ages set for tonight at Resorts World

MANILA, Philippines - The Midlife Crisis Band will celebrate its fourth year anniversary with a concert dubbed Rock 4 Ages at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila tonight at 8. The band is composed of Adel Samson, lead vocalist and percussionist; Enchong Formosa, rhythm guitarist and vocalist; Kettle Mata, lead guitarist, vocalist and musical director; Koko Marbella, lead guitarist and vocalist; Leo Baritte, drummer; Nick Guzman, lead vocalist and bass guitarist; Ronnie Henares, vocalist and guitarist; and Roy del Valle, keyboardist, vocalist, saxophonist and vocal director.

The MLC Band has gained popularity due to its original renditions of ’60s to ’80s music. Its exceptional rendition of soul, pop and rock music never fails to bring the house down. The band even front-acted for the Chicago Band during the latter’s Manila concert in 2010. Its regular gigs at the Chef and Brewer Café and Restaurant in Ortigas, Pasig City are always jam-packed and invites to do corporate shows/guestings are never ending.

Artist-director Freddie Santos will direct Rock 4 Ages which will have Kettle and Roy as music directors. Michael V. will guest in the show. The beneficiaries are the MLC UP College of Music Scholars and Kalinga Intramuros.
