A night of endless laughter

Manila, Philippines -  Viva Concerts and Events will present a night of endless laughter on Sept. 26 as all-time favorite comediennes Nanette Inventor, Tessie Tomas and Mitch Valdez stage the show titled Comic Divas at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila.

These tres marias, who pioneered in bringing comedic antics on the live stage, will once again jazz up our happy hearts. Moreover, get ready for non-stop entertainment with special guest, Jon Santos.

Inventor, known as a multi-faceted performer, has been in the business for 27 years. Starting out as a member of the UP Concert Chorus, she soon joined the group, Filipina, and ventured into voicing for radio and TV commercial jingles. It was her interpretation of Gary Granada’s Salamat Musika at the seventh Metro Manila Pop Music Festival which finally launched her as a recording artist. Since then, she appeared on various live and TV shows here and abroad.

Tomas never fails to entertain audiences with her award-winning comic acting. She’s a certified favorite in TV sitcoms. Plus, her hilarious impersonations of famous personalities have created her trademark of being a multi-talented performer. Tomas has also proven her craft in hosting through her talk show Teysi ng Tahanan, which aired on TV for seven years.

Valdez, a renowned singer, comedienne and actress, completes the trio in this upcoming show. With a funny and positive outlook in life, she has the knack for making people laugh with her natural sense of humor. Her stints in the ’60s show Super Laff jumpstarted her career. Aside from delivering punchlines and jokes, she is also known as a professional singer.
