Daniel goes BUM

MANILA, Philippines - There is no doubt about it: Daniel Padilla (photo) is one of today’s hottest teenagers. With good looks and great talent in his blood — he is the son of Karla Estrada and Rommel Padilla (which makes Robin Padilla his uncle) — Daniel is sure to go places in the entertainment industry. In fact, he has already achieved a huge amount of success and popularity ever since bursting into the scene just a couple of years ago.

Making his showbiz debut via the TV show Gimik 2010, Daniel sure got everyone’s attention with his performance on the show, so there was no question how projects kept on pouring afterwards. He became a part of the teen-oriented program Growing Up, where he was partnered with Kathryn Bernardo. Their love team proved to be a hit that the two now star in their own show, Princess & I, which continues to give joy to fans of their love team known as KathNiel.

Daniel, although being just a newbie in the business, has also received some recognition and awards that prove just how he really is the next big star we should all watch out for. Apart from receiving a Gold Record Award for the outstanding sales of his debut album, Daniel also brought home the Male Newcomer of the Year award at the 2012 Yahoo! OMG Awards.

To top all these, he has also been chosen to be the latest endorser of teen clothing brand BUM. Now joining Bea Binene, Empress Schuck and Dino Imperial, Daniel was added to the bunch because he, just like the other endorsers, perfectly embodies the brand; he is young, fun, vibrant, and stylish, of course.

The latest BUM endorser, who explains that he’s comfortable dressing up as a rakista, is happy to be part of the brand. “Masaya po sa BUM at kahit bago lang ako, pinagkatiwalaan nila ako,” shares Daniel, who is partnered with Bea in the campaign for the brand. The two may seem like an odd couple because they do have their own separate love teams, but it’s perfectly fine with Daniel because he finds Bea fun to work with. “Okay naman si Bea. Mabait naman siya at pati lahat ng kapamilya ko sa BUM,” he says.
