Trampled by Turtles, Romano on Letterman

- The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler pays a visit to the Letterman set to discuss with host David Letterman their political satire sitcom created by Michael Schur and Greg Daniels. The episode which aired a few months back also featured talk show host Wendy Williams. The well-known media personality and New York Times bestselling author discusses her own syndicated show produced by Fox. Plus, Trampled by Turtles performs Alone, which is part of the sixth studio release of the group.

Manny the Hairy Mammoth will invade our set tomorrow. Yes, that’s stand-up comedian Ray Romano of Everybody Loves Raymond fame. Aside from promoting the upcoming 3D animated movie Ice Age: Continental Drift, Romano is also expected to give televiewers an update on his booking for multiple episodes from NBC’s family drama, Parenthood. Rumor has it that he will play as a photographer who befriends Lauren Graham’s character. Will Romano complicate her relationship with Jason Ritter? You have to tune in to find out. Tom Waits will also bring his trademark growl on the Aug. 10 episode while rocking some blues, jazz and a little bit of vaudeville.
