Meet Enchong Go, 'Talentadong Unggoy'

MANILA, Philippines - Known as the Talentadong Unggoy, Enchong Go (photo) is a high-tech puppet that can be programmed as well as operated by remote control. His boss, Wanlu, a Talentadong Pinoy Hall of Famer, says Enchong Go is the first of its kind in Asia, having been made by Axtell Expressions in California.

Enchong Go is one of the Talent Scouts of TV5’s Talentadong Pinoy Kids which airs Saturdays and Sundays. The smart monkey provides positive comments on the kids’ talents as well as comedy relief during the show.

Much like his real-life inspiration, matinee idol Enchong Dee, Enchong Go has been going places. He recently led the Panata sa Kalikasan during the Earth Day 2012 celebration at the CCP. He also took part in the 441st Araw ng Maynila celebration. Wanlu shares that Enchong Go may also guest in the new season of Batibot following discussions with Feny de los Angeles.
