K-pop DJ at KBOP opening

Manila, Philippines -  KBOP Quick Korean recently launched its second outlet at The Sky Garden, SM North EDSA. It is conveniently located near The Block.

Interviewed during its inauguration is Korean model and radio jock, Jinri Park, who was guest of honor during the inaugural rites. Park says, “I haven’t eaten Korean food this good for quite a while and take it from me, this is really fantastic. Yum… and it’s super affordable. I’m sure to be coming back for more.”

The launch had a Korean pop theme replete with music videos, pop dancers and cosplayers dressed as popular K-pop artists and animé characters. A short program followed with welcome remarks delivered by KBOP president Jorge Wieneke and keynote address by chairman Mel Gozum.

As KBOP Quick Korean opened its doors, guests were surprised by its modern interiors and cool ambience. Gozum said, “KBOP Quick Korean offers the average Filipino a wide choice of popular Korean delicacies at very wallet-friendly prices. Our original outlet at the second level of The Venice Piazza, McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio is doing quite well and has proven to be quite popular with office workers, call center personnel and young urban professionals who hanker for tasty Korean fare. Our new outlet here at Sky Garden, SM North EDSA has pleasant green surroundings, plus it’s super accessible whether you’re driving (there’s a valet parking available), riding the MRT or commuting. Just turn left when you reach The Block and it’s just a short escalator ride away.”

KBOP Quick Korean offers Chapchae, Kalbichim (beef stew) and Tuboo Chim (steamed tofu) to mention a few. The popular rice bowls are specially filling with such delights that include BulgogiBOP (beef barbecue); BibimBOP (beef rice combo); Spicy Squid; Chili Shrimp; and Tofu Rice Bowl with Special Sauce. Super specials also include the uniquely modern Korean Chicken Wrap; Angus Steak Plate; KBOP Chicken Burger; and KBOP Ramen. Most of the dishes are appetizingly spicy and diners may request to have the level of spice adjusted to suit their taste buds.
