Makapiling visits Cebu

MANILA, Philippines - Richard Gutierrez is no stranger to Cebu. And just recently, he visited the Queen City of the South again to promote Makapiling Kang Muli — his latest project that marks his much-awaited return on primetime TV.

Joining him in the Cebu leg of the Makapiling Kang Muli Promo Tour were Carla Abellana, TJ Trinidad, Dominic Roco, Rio Locsin, Phillip Salvador and Mark Gil.

The powerhouse cast bannered two equally engaging Kapuso Mall Shows last May 27 that attracted about 4,000 and 5,000 Kapusong Cebuanos at the Gaisano Grand Mall in Mactan and at the Gaisano Grand Fiesta Mall in Tabunok, respectively.

Richard expressed his gratitude for the overflow of support that he and the rest of the cast received from their Cebuano fans. “Cebu will always remain as one of the provinces in the country that is very close to my heart. We are very thankful to all the Kapusong Cebuanos who came to our events and supported us,” he said.

The previous day, May 26, the Makapiling Kang Muli cast also joined Dumaguete City’s Santa Cruzan Festival. Spotlight was on them during the parade in the afternoon and in the Kapuso Night held at the Quezon Park in the evening, which was attended by about 7,000 people.

The highlights of the Makapiling Kang Muli Cebu Promo Tour can be seen in Let’s Fiesta TV Special airing on June 17 via the network’s regional stations in Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Dagupan, CDO, GenSan, Naga and Bacolod.  

Makapiling Kang Muli airs Mondays to Fridays after Luna Blanca on GMA Telebabad.
