ETC airs AI 'live' May 24

Manila, Philippines - The votes are in and after weeks of performing on the American Idol (AI) stage, Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez (photo) have been chosen by America as the final two performers competing for the title. Find out who will be the next American Idol during the grand finale live via satellite on May 24 at 8 a.m. on etc.

The grand finale night will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, where the two remaining finalists will stand on stage before an audience of more than 7,000 and a global TV audience of millions as host Ryan Seacrest announces the next American Idol. Prior to the results, watch the American Idol Season 11 Top 10 as they return on the stage performing hits from the past season. Rihanna, Jason Derulo and Aerosmith are also set to perform.

Before the announcement, Jessica and Phillip will perform for the last time for America’s votes during the Top 2 performance show that will be aired on etc tomorrow, May 23 at 6 p.m. with a primetime telecast at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
