Kapuso stars sizzle at Heat Wave Summer Bazaar

MANILA, Philippines - Kapuso stars provided a soothing relief to the long, hot summer as they sizzled in the recent Heat Wave Summer Bazaar held at the World Trade Center, which showcased the hottest essentials of the season.

The star-studded event featured Fil-Canadian Mikey Bustos as program emcee, and special numbers from GMA stars Joyce Ching, Denise Barbacena, Jake Vargas, Jenzen Tenoso, Derrick Monasterio, Kristofer Martin and German “Kuya Germs” Moreno.

Organized by Cut Unlimited, the event’s proceeds benefited the GMA Kapuso Foundation program, which seeks quality education by expanding its Kapuso School Development Project.

Spicing up the three-day benefit bazaar were fashion shows, live performances by GMA celebrities, raffle draws and a host of production numbers.

The event was the second collaboration of Cut Unlimited and GMA for the Kapuso Network’s corporate social responsibility projects after the Noel Discovery Bazaars, the biggest and longest-running Christmas sale.

Products displayed were swimwear, bandeaus and cover-ups, summer tops and bottoms, footwear, eyewear, headpieces, perfumeries, cosmetics, novelty items, home accents, food treats and getaway destinations.

Showcased brands included Lindsay Phillips, One Sole by Quick Change Artist, Spongeables, Spongelle, Grendha, Ipanema, Levi’s, Dockers, Rider, EFX, Ever Bilena, Luminox and Rudy Project.
