A girl for Niña Corpuz & Vince Rodriguez

MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN reporter and dzMM radio host Niña Corpuz ‘labored’ on Tuesday, May 1, Labor Day, and gave birth to a girl at 7:49 a.m. The day happened to be the Feast Day of St. Joseph. To be named Stella, the baby weighed 5.9 lbs. and was delivered by Caesarian section by Dr. Jose Moran at St. Luke’s Medical Center. Prior to giving birth, Niña suffered from food poisoning and had to undergo an appendectomy. ‘Stella and I are doing well,’ Niña texted Funfare. ‘Just a bit sleepy and tired after breast-feeding every hour the whole night.’ Stella is the first child of Niña and husband Vince Rodriguez (executive of Studio 23). Niña lost their first baby in a miscarriage.
