Kapuso stars join Kaamulan Festival

-

MANILA, Philippines - In Binukid, kaamulan means “social gathering.” And just recently, Bukidnon’s Kaamulan Festival lived up to this meaning anew after an estimated crowd of 10,000 gathered for the Kapuso Night held at the Kaamulan Capitol Grounds in Malaybalay City.

With GMA Network as its exclusive media partner, this year’s Kaamulan Festival featured electrifying performances from Jay-R, Krista Kleiner, TJ Trinidad and sisters Ehra and Michelle Madrigal.

Excitement and admiration filled the air as each artist owned the stage to perform their respective production numbers — leaving everyone in awe.

Special mention goes to Krista, who set the festive mood of the people with her opening number, and Jay-R, who embodied his title R&B Prince after quite a number of exhilarating numbers.

Meanwhile, an evening of elegance and style took place recently at the Kaamulan Folk Arts Theater with the search for the Bb. Bukidnon. One of Legacy’s dashing leading men, Mike Tan, was there to serenade the contestants.

GMA’s participation in the Kaamulan Festival began with the Kaamulan Ethnic Street Dancing and Float Competition, which featured Legacy’s Ryza Cenon, My Beloved’s Ynna Asistio and Jillian Ward.

“We are very honored to have been chosen as the official media partner of this year’s Kaamulan Festival. It was heartwarming to see the people of Bukidnon enjoying the festivities together with our Kapuso stars. We are deeply touched and delighted by their warm welcome to us and we look forward to our future partnerships with them,” says Oliver Amoroso, AVP for sales and marketing of GMA Regional TV.
