Life & Style goes to Cebu, Pampanga

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Ricky Reyes presents another special summer episode on Saturday at 10 a.m. on GMA News TV’s Life and Style With Gandang Ricky Reyes. The Life & Style crew flew to Cebu to watch the Dance Sport team comprised of former street children who bonded, honed their talent, joined international competitions and won awards. This makes the Queen City of the South as the Dance Capital of the World.

Watch the Life &Style to catch these artistic kids’ winning style and their interview with host-producer Ricky.

Next stop is an environment friendly residence called Green Home, built by a native who proves to all and sundry that there is something we can do to avoid global warming. From the garden to its interiors, recycled materials were used but upon touring the house. “Everything looks first class and of high quality,” says Ricky.

From Cebu, Life & Style goes to Angeles City to visit the amazing “Stonstenberg” frequented by locals and foreigners. Once inside the structure, you feel that you are in another planet. It is also known as Espasyo de Palasyo sa Pampanga.

World-class furniture maker Kapampangan Myrna Bituin shows furniture she designs for the Middle East Royal Family. The pieces fit for kings and queens are custom-made and mean high-price tags. Myrna’s showroom is called Paraiso ng mga Muebles by her townmates.

Sweet, simple and nice former First Lady Amelita “Ming” Ramos occupies a special place in Ricky’s heart. Ming graces the show for a tete-a-tete with her long-time friend. Ricky discovers what’s inside Ming’s handbag.
