David sings OPM in his new album

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - David Archuleta has just released his album, David Archuleta… Forevermore, under Ivory Music & Video, featuring love songs written by Filipino composers.

David covers some of the country’s beloved OPM tracks such as Forevermore and Hold On (by Side A), You Are My Song (Martin Nievera), I’ll Never Go (Nexxus), Tell Me (Joey Albert), Reaching Out (Gary Valenciano), and Rainbow (South Border).

He starred in the mini-series Nandito Ako on TV5 with Jasmine Curtis. There, he showed off his acting chops and sang its theme song in Tagalog. David has received a plaque of appreciation from the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-Aawit for making an all-OPM album. “I wouldn’t say that I sound better than the original singers because the singers here are so amazing. But I would hope that I could pay tribute to them with this album,” David says.

What’s even greater about the album is that Nandito Ako and Forevermore, were released as digital exclusives on www.mymusicstore.com.ph. A digital exclusive is a track in digital format that one won’t find anywhere else.

David Archuleta… Forevermore is probably David’s last album before he takes a two-year break from making music (he’s embarking on a spiritual mission). But don’t fret, you can always sing along to the soothing sound of his voice. Just download his album or any of his songs from MyMusicStore with over 160,000 songs in its catalogue.

For as low as P20 per song, OPM fans and Pinoy music lovers can download their favorite songs.
