The scent of caring & giving

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - To help Hospicio de San Jose in its mission to care for abandoned children and the elderly, Aficionado Germany Perfume president and COO Joel Cruz (second from left) chose the orphanage as his beneficiary of the grand prize he won in Dusit Thani Manila’s Christmas Tree charity project last year. Joel’s sparkling and modern entry was made of empty perfume bottles in assorted shapes and sizes. The orphanage’s administrator Sr. Socorro Evidente and other nuns of the congregation recently went to Cagayan de Oro to assist victims of

Typhoon Sendong.

With Joel (from left) are Dusit Thani Manila GM Prateek Kumar, Sr. Cristina Valdez and Sr. Alice Aycocho of Hospicio de San Jose.
