Ambassadors of Light off to Bangkok

MANILA, Philippines - The Ambassadors of Light Foundation, Inc., a singing choir composed of visually-impaired but musically talented group, represents the country to the 11th Asia-Pacific Wataboshi Music Festival which is set until March 2 at the National Theater in Bangkok, Thailand.

Led by its founding president Anderson Go who is himself unsighted, the six-member Philippine delegates will be joined by handi-capable and physically-challenged artists from 12 countries.

The festival now on its 20th year gathers artists with disabilities in the spirit of love and unity through the celebration of music.

Joining Go, a top music graduate of The Philippine Women’s University (PWU), to Bangkok are AOL’s soprano Carmie de los Santos, also a PWU graduate, alto Ma. Elvira Serna of STI-Muñoz and board members Geraldine Osias, Sonia Atabug and Gloria Jamandre, choreographer.
