OMD to perform at The Big Dome March 12

MANILA, Philippines - The original frontmen of Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD)  Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys, and their original band members Martin Cooper and Malcolm Holmes  are set to hit Manila for a one-night only concert on March 12, 8 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Billed as the History of the Modern concert tour, OMD is raring to hit the live concert stage and dish out its classic and influential hits to delight the Filipino fans and create a big dance party to celebrate a decade marked by hairspray, hair gels, shoulder pads, neon colors, strobe lights and great music.

 OMD’s History of the Modern tour marks the release of the group’s 11th studio album, raved by critics and selling briskly in Europe, reaching No. 28 in the UK album charts. OMD regrouped way back in 2007 and started touring the world and played successful sold-out concerts. Since then, OMD has been recording and touring non-stop. Its first US tour in March 2011, which took place 23 years after its last US gig in 1988, was a rousing success thus, the group pursued on embarking on this Asian-Australian leg.
