Pinoy rock icons at Music Museum

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Pinoy rock icons and legends will rock the Music Museum on Jan. 26 via the one-night only concert titled Rockin’ The Roots At Music Museum.

The concert is the initial project of CREATVFX, Inc., which came up with the idea of producing a show that will pay tribute to Pinoy Rock. And one of its creative minds, Rene Garcia, the man who pioneered the “Manila Sound,” was responsible for recruiting the rock roster.

Set to rock ‘n’ roll are Joey “Pepe” Smith, Rene Garcia of Hotdog, Jett Pangan of The Dawn, Lolita Carbon of Asin, Resty Fabunan of Maria Cafra, Gary Perez and Eggpie de Castro.

The playlist, made up of signature Pinoy rock hymns and classic rock songs, will be a nostalgic journey that will let you relive the good ol’ days.

Be part of this rare rock gathering. Tickets are available at Music Museum Ticketron and Ticketworld or call 891-9999.
