UE launches Dance Fuzion

MANILA, Philippines - The University of the East, through its Office of Cultural Affairs (UE OCA), has launched a dance competition dubbed as Dance Fuzion as one of the universityís cultural presentations for the 2012 Philippine Arts Festival celebration next month.

Registration for aspiring contestants is on until Jan. 26 at the UE OCA. The dance contest is open to bona fide student organizations, dance clubs and other group dance enthusiasts of UE. Each group contestant should not exceed 30 dancers but not less than 15.

The historic UE Theater is the venue for the Dance Fuzion. The screening is set on Feb. 3, 9 a.m.; the semifinals on Feb. 8, 2 p.m. while the grand finals will be held on Feb. 24, 2 p.m.
