Amaya's farewell show

MANILA, Philippines - With its episode tonight (after 24 Oras), GMA 7’s top-rated series Amaya bids farewell — with a bang. For posterity, led by director Mac Alejandre, the cast had its ‘family picture’ taken with lead star Marian Rivera (also shown below, right) and co-stars including Sid Lucero and Sheena Halili (in group photo). Absent was Gina Alajar (below, left). Amaya was named Best Original Drama Series in the 2011 Golden Screen Awards for Television and endorsed by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines and DepED for its historical and cultural content.
