Musical icons in David Letterman
MANILA, Philippines - Country and pop jazz icons Dolly Parton and Tony Bennett headline the luminaries visiting the Ed Sullivan Theatre for The Late Show with David Letterman. Others scheduled this week are Mark Wahlberg and Kate Beckinsale.
Mark sits down on Jan. 10 to talk about his new action thriller Contraband and about how he went from rapper and underwear model to family man while on Jan. 11, Kate talks about starring as Selene in the Underworld series.
Dolly speaks about Keke Palmer’s upcoming film on Jan. 12 as the country music legend stars in Joyful Noise, a funny and inspirational story of music, hope, love and renewal.
Nearly 30 years after his last appearance at the Ed Sullivan Theatre, legendary bluesman Johnny Winter will perform on Jan. 13. His appearance comes in the midst of an international tour for his new studio album Roots.
Tony is back on Jan. 14. The Grammy Award winning Rags To Riches singer will grace the studios with his presence to promote the PBS special Tony Bennett: Duets II. Catch the David Letterman every Tuesday to Saturday at 2 p.m. via satellite with next day replays at 1 a.m. on TALKtv.
