Dog whisperer in NatGeo

-

MANILA, Philippines - They say old dogs can’t learn new tricks. But sometimes, it’s necessary to keep peace around the house, especially between owner and pet. This month, renowned dog’s best friend and tamer Cesar Millan is back in town for a brand new season of Dog Whisperer in National Geographic Channel.

Learn new tricks on how to tame territorial pooches or handle out-of-control dogs as Cesar brings back the friend in man’s best friend. Catch back-to-back episodes every Wednesday night at 10.

On Dec. 28 at 10 p.m., watch Made in Japan, Lawnmower Licker, the touching story of Tara Walls and Tyler Hughes, a couple who grew up with and loved animals. When they heard the heartbreaking story of Marley, a neglected Shiba Inu from Japan, they felt that they had to adopt him. It’s a story that traverses cultures and countries, from Japan to California and from pet to animal lovers.

Then catch the story of Diana Kroska who adopted Piper, a Wire Fox Terrier, as part of her therapy for her colon cancer. A year into staying with Diana and husband John, Piper began to exhibit bizarre behavior such as growling at the lawnmower engine, as well as sitting on top of it and trying to lick it. Any attempt at separating the dog with the power tool ends up with Piper baring her teeth. Can Cesar weed out this bad habit?

Catch the reruns of Dog Whisperer 4 episodes, with Cesar facing a miniature pinscher who bullies his housemates, a Chihuahua mix born with only her hind legs, the two French bulldogs of writer-director Mike White, K9 sniffers and the battle of the alpha dog between a German shepherd and a Rottweiler Major.
