MANILA, Philippines - Get set for an evening of punk-rock-induced energy as Simple Plan performs at Smart Araneta Coliseum on Jan. 12, 2012. The Simple Plan Live in Manila for the Get Your Heart On! Tour concert is produced by Dayly Entertainment and Midas Productions.

It’s the group’s third visit to Manila, the first having been in March 2005 (with Avril Lavigne) and the second in August 2008 (with New Found Glory and Jamie Scott).

Simple Plan’s connection with its fans has translated into a string of hit singles including I’d Do Anything, Addicted and Perfect from its 2002 double-platinum debut album No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls; Welcome To My Life and Untitled (How Could This Happen To Me?) from its 2004 platinum album Still Not Getting Any; and When I’m Gone and Your Love is A Lie from its 2008 Simple Plan album.

Overall, Simple Plan has sold nearly four million albums in the US and Canada, and more than 7.5 million albums worldwide.

The band’s new album, Get Your Heart On!, is described as a gloriously fun, boundlessly melodic slice of poppy modern-rock that finds Simple Plan returning to the revved-up energy of No Pads and Still Not Getting Any.
