It's Showtime in Dubai

MANILA, Philippines - Nearly 8,000 kapamilya hailing from Dubai plus other Emirates and Middle East countries flocked to the Airport Expo East Hall last Dec. 2 as TFC (The Filipino Channel) granted their long-time request of bringing the whole gang of ABS-CBN’s premier talent show Showtime for a one-night only performance at the United Arab Emirates’ venue. 

Dubai’s madlang people kept the momentum of the show going with the havey na havey energy and enthusiasm — notwithstanding the wait, the hunger and the long travel to and from the venue — with some rushing from work just to join the fever.

The hosts could not be happier and more appreciative of the warmth of their kababayan’s welcome and the time and effort that all four group contestants put to prove how Pinoy talent from this side of the globe is anything but puchu-puchu.

Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, Karylle, Kuya Kim Atienza, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz and Vice Ganda came in full force and armed with their natural dynamics, witty banters and remarkable performances proving that not only can they get along really well as a barkada but they can also make their audiences laugh while at it.

Giving the UAE populace a sample-sample of a Showtime studio experience was surely a memorable and major-major early TFC Christmas entertainment treat for the Global Pinoys.
