Kapamilya stars guest in MBC choral tilt

MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN’s (from left) Jovit Baldivino, Zia Quizon, Bugoy Drilon, Princess Velasco and Liezel Garcia are alternately featured as guest performers in the national finals of the MBC National Choral Competition on Dec. 5 to 9 at the Star City Complex, Pasay City.  

90.7 Love Radio’s Nicole Hyala and Chris Tsuper and the wacky duo of Kristine Dera and Rico Panyero will alternately host the week-long event which brings together 44 choirs from various parts of the country vying for the championships in the children’s choir and open categories. 

The grand prize winner in the children’s division will receive P100,000 while the open category champion will bring home P150,000.

The public is invited to watch the semi-finals on Dec. 5 to 8, 5 p.m. at the Star Theater, while the grand finals roll out on Dec. 9 at the Aliw Theater. The MBC National Choral Competition is supported by Smart Communications, Nagaraya, Hanabishi, Dunkin’ Donuts, Angel Condensada, Coca-Cola, Pizza Hut, M. Lhuillier and Yakult.
