A slimmer, busier Juday

“Malamang na isa,” quipped Judy Ann Santos when asked how many more children does she want to add to Lucho and Yohan. “Kung magkakaroon ng isa malamang na yon na muna kasi yong realidad na mahirap magpalaki ng bata. Basta kaya ng bulsa, sige,” she said laughing.

She also said that it would be a blessing if another baby comes along. “Pag nag-35 ako at saka sakaling mabuntis ako, baka mahirapan ako. So if in case it comes today or when I am 35, I am prepared for it.”

Juday is not only slimmer these days, she is sexier. Many wonder why. “Ganyan naman talaga ang weight ko, 120 lbs. bago pa ako nabuntis,” she said matter of factly.

But Juday is even more inspired to work these days. She has a festival entry at the Metro Manila Filmfest My Househusband: Ikaw Na with husband Ryan Agoncillo, and a movie with Coco Martin. She is also looking forward to do another teleserye. “But it will depend on the story and who I am with. May mga naka-line up din ako na ibang pelikulang gagawin.”

As to her best friend Sharon Cuneta’s plan to transfer to another station, Juday was non- committal. “Mahirap magbigay ng opinion sa issue na yan. Di kami nagkakausap ni Ate Sharon. Pero kung ano man po ang desisyon ni Ate, full support ako.”

Angeline also blessed with a good heart

So what’s really the score between Coco Martin and Angeline Quinto? Many think that they are an item after talks spread that Angeline was Coco’s special someone during his birthday celebration. Yes, Angeline gifted Coco with a Magic Sing that made Coco’s day extra special. Angeline has been so vocal about her admiration for the actor that when she staged her first major concert, Coco surprised her by appearing in her show.

Recently, Angeline celebrated her birthday. The singer said she has so many things to be thankful for. She is slowly achieving her dreams. From her humble beginnings, Angeline’s climb to the top started when she was declared grand champion on ABS-CBN’s Star Power.

Angeline’s voice has brought her to concerts abroad from Singapore, USA, Canada, Austria to Switzerland, among others. She has also been given awards by the PMPC for Music Song of the Year (Patuloy ang Pangarap), New Female Recording Artist of the Year, CMMA Best Secular Song for Patuloy ang Pangarap, and Aliw Awards Best New Artist.

Angeline is working hard and saving money to buy her family a house. This girl is not only blessed with an angelic voice but also with a good heart.

Maricel back to work

A rejuvenated and refreshed Maricel Soriano went public when she had a pictorial for the movie Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow under Regal Films. Maricel admitted she went though some trying moments in her life. “May dumating na konting unos sa buhay na medyo hindi kinaya. Yon ang isang trahedya na naman sa buhay ni Maria. Pero sa bawat unos na pinag daananan natin at pagsubok, may kapalit,” she said.

The actress is happy to be back in front of the cameras again. She has long been missed by her fans. She also said that the recent challenges which she went through made her stronger. “Marami tayong pinagdadaanan sa buhay natin na medyo mahirap. Kailangan natin maging malakas at maging matatatag. Mahirap pero kailangan kayanin natin at harapin at magpakatotoo. Yon ang importante,” she explained.

Long way to go for Luis & Jennylyn

Luis Manzano revealed that he and Jennylyn Mercado are a couple. “I have always told the public when asked about Jen that it will come. Mangyayari na lang yon, yon lagi sinasabi ko,” said Luis. “Life has its way of surprising us. But we still have a long way to go.”

What sets Jennylyn from the rest is that she is “very, very malambing at very, very maalaga. She bakes and cooks for me. Ako once or twice lang makapagluto sa kanya. Kahit gaano katanda meron tayong inner baby na gustong inaalagaan.”
