My Girl hunk back in Helena's Promise

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Korean actress Kim Seon-Ah, who plays the role of a 34-year-old spinster who makes list of things she wants to do before she dies in six months’ time, teams up with My Girl hunk Lee Dong-Wook in Helena’s Promise premiering today on ABS-CBN.

The Korean drama series follows the life of Helena, who works at a travel agency and lives a rather unexciting life. Things suddenly changed when she was diagnosed with gall bladder cancer with only six months to live.

Instead of feeling low, Helena opted to take the reigns and live her remaining months to the fullest. To be sure she got everything covered, Helena made a bucket list of things she wants to do before she dies such as having a make-over, traveling to a different country, and even dating a really gorgeous guy.

Then she meets William, who is a smart, intelligent business man.  William may seem fulfilled with his life, but he is a wounded man deep inside.

As the two accidentally meet in Japan, will they be able to fill the missing pieces in their hearts? Can Helena promise her heart to William knowing her days in the world are numbered?

Helena’s Promise airs after Happy Yipee Yehey in ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold.
