Dancing with Chiquito, Lita

The Continental, Bunny Hop Twist, Mashed Potatoes, Popeye Stroll.

Those were some of the popular dance steps of the ’60s, as interpreted by Chiquito and Lita Gutierrez in the 1962 movie Hindi Tayo Talo.

Joining Chiquito and Lita on the dance floor — with some effort it must be said — were Bernard Bonnin, Diomedes Maturan and Aurora Ortiz.

Well, after all, Bernard was an action star and Diomedes a singer. Aurora was being built up, but she chose love over career. She became Mrs. Ramon Revilla.  — RKC
