Bela shines at Asian Supermodel 2011

MANILA, Philippines - By now, people have come to evaluate Bela Padilla as being one of the current showbiz sensations who can truly carry herself with such class.

No wonder she ended up as media darling and winner of Miss Friendship during her stint at this year’s Asian Supermodel held just days ago in China. Her glaring appeal as brought by her pleasing persona proved irresistible for media people covering the competition participated in by various countries all over Asia.

Both the pageant journalists and her co-participant models agree that she possesses a strikingly likable aura that spells beauty in physical sense and beyond. “Throughout the competition run, her image often appeared on the Net, in print and TV plugs. Thus, on coronation night she was hands-down the most applauded,” observed GMA Artist Center’s Jenny Donato.

During the two-day competition aired via Guangxi TV station, the models visited various tourist spots in Guillin and Nanning.

Over 30 young beauties from various Asian countries joined this year’s Asian Super Model which is touted as the region’s biggest model contest. Delegates from the Philippines have consistently fared well each year, with Rhian Ramos and Steph Henares making it to the Top 10 in 2008 and Mariana del Rio even scoring a second runner-up finish last year.
