Wondergays: Next novelty sensation

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Wondergays is poised to become the music industry’s next novelty singing sensations, now that the group’s album has been selling well at record bars and other musical outlets.

Its members, playfully named Blue, Pink, White, Black, Gray and Green, are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that their album turns gold, and later on, platinum, and so on.

With Blind Item as the carrier single of the album of the gayband, Wondergays continues its rise to popularity among radio and TV talk shows.

The album carries four cuts, which also include Pare, Kiyeme Lang Yon, Hi, Hello and Oh Lala.

Another LDG Productions and Entertainment Recording Co. talent, Blanktape, composed all the songs in the album.

Blind Item is popular among radio disc jockeys and has been the theme song of radio and TV talk shows like Juicy of TV5. Blind Item is also played regularly by Tita Swarding during his Sunday show at DZRH-666 Khz which also aired at RHTV.

Meanwhile, LDG is preparing the group’s first major concert in October.

And because Vice Ganda is the idol of the group, the members will also showcase their comedic chops in what they promise to be a riot of a concert.

The Wondergays is also looking forward to a showdown with Vice Ganda in a concert in the future.
