Leno meets Cheney, Heidi and Snooki

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The former Vice President of the United States, a Victoria’s Secret Supermodel and the Garden State darling are only a few of the guests on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this week. And musical performances by Jeff Bridges, Andy Grammer & OK Go with The Muppets.

As SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Animal Ambassador, Julie Scardina brings exotic animals today and David Koechener speaks about his gore-filled second career as a horror star in Final Destination 5 and the upcoming Piranha 3D sequel. Then the buzz continues with Cake’s Long Time, the second single from its latest album, which is steadily moving up the radio charts.

Jeff drops by tomorrow, Aug. 31 to talk about how he started out in music and took a tour of Rolling Stone’s hall of covers while Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is hoping for some Dancing with the Stars glory. Find out why Snooki changed her tune about appearing on the reality competition as Jeff performs a song from his new self-titled album.

Allison guests on Sept. 1 to discuss her role as Emma Stone’s cancer-stricken Southern mother in Touchstone Pictures’ The Help while Jay Mohr brings a dude-centric debate show Master Debaters on Sept. 7 because what TV really needs now is Mohr bro-gramming. Perhaps most exciting of all, though, OK Go and The Muppets will perform together live.

Get to know Project Runway judge and executive producer Heidi Klum on Sept. 2 as she opens up about her healthy sex life with husband Seal, explaining how the couple keeps things hot in the bedroom. Also, director Kevin Smith talks about his new movie, thumbing his nose at the Hollywood studio system and why he’s serious about leaving film. Plus, Fitz and The Tantrums perform Don’t Gotta Work It Out.

On Sept. 3, former VP Dick Cheney tells about the publication of his upcoming memoir In My Time, which will cover Cheney’s personal and political life before, after and during his time in the White House. And get ready to laugh ‘til it hurts with Kevin Hart promoting his new stand-up comedy flick, Laugh At My Pain, which hits theaters Sept. 9. Then, see Andy Grammer and his band play Keep Your Head Up.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno airs Tuesdays to Saturdays, 1 to 2 p.m. via satellite with replays at 12 m.n. on TALKtv Ch. 16 on SkyCable, Ch. 28 on Destiny and Ch. 21 on VHF.
