Pinoy cosplayers win in Singapore

MANILA, Philippines - Three Filipino cosplayers win in Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) competition, one of Asia’s biggest cosplay event held recently. Singapore-based Pinoy Roy Anchinges was hailed grand winner while Hero Face Off champions Stephanie Sumbe and Mary Grace Roldan received special jury prize. Anchinges bagged SGD1,000 while Roldan and Sumbe took home SGD100 each. According to Hero TV Channel head Ruel Ferrer, sending the two girl cosplayers was fulfilling and fun. He looks forward to sending more globally- competitive cosplayers to prestigious cosplay competitions abroad. Hero TV once again opens its search for the next grand cosplayer in Hero Face Off 2: The Ultimate Cosplay Battle on Sept. 4 at the Megatrade Hall 2, SM Megamall.
