Coco personally greets The STAR 'a happy 25th'

MANILA, Philippines - Coco Martin yesterday visited The STAR to personally greet in advance The Star Group of Companies (also including Pilipino Star Ngayon and Pilipino Star Printing) which is celebrating its 25th anniversary tomorrow, July 28. He paid a courtesy call on Miguel Belmonte (right), The STAR’s president and CEO, after dropping by at the Entertainment Section office (above) for a photo with (from left) artist Emerson Salvador, Assistant Editor Nathalie Tomada, Sub-Editor Bot Glorioso, Editor Ricky Lo and proof-reader/photographer Ver Paulino. Coco thanked The STAR for being the first broadsheet that published a generous feature on him even before his first starrer, Dante Mendoza’s Masahista, was shown a few years ago.
