Maricel gives birth to 5th child

MANILA, Philippines - Maricel Laxa delivered by ‘water birth’ her and husband Anthony Pangilinan’s fifth child at 7:04 p.m. last Thursday, July 14, at St. Luke’s Medical Center (The Fort). To be named Solana Emmanuelle, the baby weighed 10.4 lbs. ‘Ka-birthday niya ang kanyang Lolo MVP who’d rather be called Tito MVP,’ said Anthony who added that the ‘water birth’ went well ‘but the transition was challenging.’ Maricel bled and needed transfusion ‘as she is low blood to start with.’ She doesn’t need further transfusion and is fast recovering.
