'Avant garde' clothes for Temptation stars

MANILA, Philippines - “This movie is Regal’s tribute to Joey Gosiengfiao,” says Regal Matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde of Temptation Island, the JG classic mounted on stage (at the CCP Little Theater) and now remade jointly by Regal Films and GMA Films.

The updated remake topbills (above, from left) Lovi Poe (dressed up by Eric delos Santos), Solenn Heussaff, Marian Rivera (by Louis Claparols) and Heart Evangelista (by Ferdie Abuel); together with (top right, from left, with Mother Lily) Mikael Daez, Aljur Abrenica and Dennis Trillo. Also in the cast is John ‘Sweet’ Lapus who reprises the role (as a loud gay) played by Jonas Sebastian.

Directed by Chris Martinez (Here Comes The Bride, 100 and Kimmy Dora), Temptation Island was shot in the deserts of Paoay, Ilocos Norte.
