Maryknoll Batch '86 holds benefit party

MANILA, Philippines- The Batch ‘86 students of Maryknoll College relived the iconic music of the ‘80s – Madonna, Duran Duran, Police, Eurythmics and Michael Jackson – with the State of the Nation party last May 6.

The Silver Jubilarians of Maryknoll/Miriam College revived the popular party theme that started 25 years ago to enjoy new wave music to help provide scholarship opportunities for the students of the Southeast Asian Institute for the Deaf. 

The State of the Nation party was held at the Rockwell Tent. The event was presented by Rockwell Land and supported by Oilstar Ventures, Inc. Signum Event Engineering, Everbilena Cosmetics, Volvo, The Cravings Group and Alejandro perfumes. Popular ‘80s DJ Boyet Almazan provided the beats for the party.
