Poreotics in Creative Recreation

MANILA, Philippines - Poreotix, the reigning champions of America’s Best Dance Crew, opened the recent Justin Bieber concert at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.

The dancers’ shoes were courtesy of the LA-based sneakerhead favorite Creative Recreation. Creative Recreation was launched in 2002 by its founders who simply set out to design shoes that they themselves wanted to wear. Through its unique styling, the brand has built a strong following among Hollywood celebrities, recording artists and the world of hip hop dance crews.

The brand was a highlight in the dance film Step Up 3D, where an exclusive pair of the brand’s signature style the Cesario was customized by German designer Moritz Waldemeyer with illuminating LED panels equipped with motion sensors that respond to the actual movement of the dancer.

Among celebrities spotted wearing Creative Recretion are Kanye West, Jamie Foxx, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Salling of Glee, Jared Leto of 30 Seconds to Mars, P. Diddy, Apl.de.Ap Usher, and Hayden Christensen and Kobe Bryant.
