The annual SM Job Fair a success

-

MANILA, Philippines - In these trying times, finding a job, especially one well suited to your skills is like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack — next to impossible.  Indeed, if anything it is often that one would almost always simply settle with whatever comes his or her way.  But that was before.

Today, a great number of job fairs allow Filipinos to find the perfect job – one that matches their skill and for the right compensation.

Among job fairs that many have learned to trust and depend on is the annual SM Job Fair, considered the biggest and most varied of its kind.

A project of SM Supermalls and SM Cares, the annual event offers a huge variety of local  & overseas employment, with job seekers given an opportunity to meet their recruiters, choose their desired career, acquire employment information and explore various job internship offers from local, national and international companies and service sectors.

It is among many projects of SM Malls in its ardent pursuit to catalyze the creation of employment and business opportunities in all areas where they are located. And as it is held in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment and the Public Employment Service Office – job seekers are assured that the work offered are all legitimate.

Last May 1, the event was again held simultaneously in all SM Supermalls nationwide in cooperation with SM Affiliates, mall tenants and other invited companies. About 1,889 establishments participated in the event with 57,297 applicants served and 209,281 job vacancies filled.

No doubt, the event was again, a runaway success, with many finding satisfaction — specifically in finding the job they wanted and needed.
