Charice feels 'really blessed,' thanks Pacman

MANILA, Philippines - Unlike some of her predecessors, Charice (photo) perhaps doesn’t have to ‘re-study’ how to sing the Lupang Hinirang before she mounts the ring at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas during the bout between Manny Pacquiao (inset) and Shane Mosley next Sunday, May 8 (Manila Time).

The personal choice of Pacquiao, Charice posted the following entry in her official Twitter account: Thank you, Sir Manny Pacquiao, for choosing me to sing the Philippine National Anthem for your fight. Feel really blessed.

The honor comes on the heels of Charice’s recent second appearance on Glee. She’s also shooting Here Comes The Boom, her second Hollywood movie after Alvin and the Chipmunks (as a guest).
