Pundaquit Fest's Easter show today

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Have a soulful observance of the Lenten Season and enjoy the charming countryside of San Antonio, Zambales as Casa San Miguel presents its annual Holy Week concerts as part of the 17th Pundaquit Festival, the country’s longest-running community-based arts program.

Today, Minstrels of Hope celebrates the glory of Christ’s Resurrection with their songs of hope. Conducted by Benibaldo Mapa Jr., the choral group is composed of young ladies from urban poor and has toured Canada, Thailand and Europe.

The group banded together to reach out to depressed urban areas by sharing their musical skills and talents. While creating awareness on situation, the choir members are also restoring their sense of dignity and self-confidence through their gift of music.

Concert will be at 6 p.m. at the Ramon L. Corpus Hall of Casa San Miguel. Tickets are at P1,000 each including entrance to galleries, pre-show cocktails and post-concert dinner with the artists.

Pundaquit Festival Season 17 is supported by Starbucks Coffee, D and L Industries in partnership with Sony, Lyric Pianos, The Philippine STAR and DZFE The Master’s Touch.

For details, call 681-8304 or 0915-5026802, or add them on Facebook/Casa San Miguel.
