A mix of carrier singles and new albums

MANILA, Philippines - GMA Records releases a refreshing mix of carrier singles, brand-new albums and DVD compilations of Kapuso programs just in time for the summer season.

With the success of her debut album Inside My Heart, Frencheska Farr comes out with her second single Isama Mo Ako. A singer as fresh and promising as Frencheska deserves only the best. GMA Records has chosen the luxurious and elegant Manila Hotel as venue for her music video particularly the very famous Champagne Room. As Frencheska sings to the lyrics of her newest hit, the music video showcases the captivating beauty of this romantic hotspot perfect be it for elegant parties or intimate gatherings.

Composed by Vehnee Saturno, Isama Mo Ako will be a love theme from the highly-anticipated sequel of Captain Barbell, which Frencheska is also part of the cast. Her songs have already been identified with high-rating programs and blockbuster movies such as My Valentine Girls, Alakdana and Temptation of Wife.  Frencheska will also be Channel V’s Take Off Artist of the Month for April.

Janno Gibbs releases his newest album The Janno Gibbs Anthology featuring 18 of his greatest hits spanning 20 years of his musical artistry. The album includes hits like Ipagpatawad Mo, I Believe in Dreams, Almost Over You, Ikaw Lamang, Fallin’, Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo, If I’m Not In Love With You, and many others. The compilation album also contains duets with Jaya, Jennylyn Mercado, and Jolina Magdangal, and a collaboration with Andrew E.

Jan Marini rekindles her love for singing as she releases her sophomore album Once. Her carrier single White Walls is her own composition, an original love song reminiscent of a painful heartbreak. Once contains 11 tracks, both originals and revivals, including The Hardest Thing, Just When I Needed You Most, Will You Still Love Me? and The Same Love.

 Meanwhile, GMA Records has also released the DVD collection of the groundbreaking telefantasya Mulawin for the entire family to enjoy. The action-fantasy-drama depicts the epic battle between two races of winged-humanoids, the Mulawins and the Ravenas. Viewers can follow once more the passionate love story of Aguiluz and Alwina, and their incredible adventures with the colorful Pericos, the feline tribes of the Musangs, the cunning Hunyangos, and the enchanting fairies of Encantadia. Mulawin launched to superstardom the career of today’s most sought-after leading men, Richard Gutierrez and Dennis Trillo. Mulawin home video comes with English subtitles.

The home video collection of Pepito Manaloto, Endless Love, Stairway to Heaven and First Time are still available in the market at affordable prices.

 Also out in the market is Mga Awit Kapuso (Sarap Maging Kapuso). The latest compilation of GMA TV theme songs contains 14 tracks including GMA’s 60th anniversary theme Kay Sarap Maging Kapuso performed by Frencheska, Geoff Taylor and Jay Perillo. Also included is the theme song of Captain Barbell titled Sandata, sung by Shamrock and Panata 3 Serbisyong Totoo, the theme of GMA News & Public Affairs.  The themes of Langit sa Piling Mo, Koreana, Ilumina and many others are also included in the CD.
