My Talent set summer classes

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - In the past three years, My Talent has reinvented the way kids view summer workshops, and past participants agree that My Talent has changed their lives in a big way. This year, My Talent will start on March 23 at the Olympic Heights Building, Eastwood City.

Equus star Marco Mañalac didn’t have theater background when he got the plum role, but with My Talent founder Audie Gemora’s guidance, he got rave reviews playing the disturbed Alan Strang. My Talent has assembled some of the best teachers from their respective fields of expertise. Makiling School of the Performing Arts graduate Dorothea Marabut and theater major Francis Matteu will handle the children musical theater classes. Theater actor and director Johann de la Fuente will be in charge of the adult Musical Theater class. Voice classes will be conducted by Jemuel Victorino and Von Ryan Yu from the UST Conservatory of Music. Abby Cruz will teach modeling for kids while Rissa Mananquil handles the teens and adults. Street Dancing will be taught by Jose Marie Bergado de Jesus member, UP StreetDance Club and Street Dance Central, Coach, Team Anexar first Philippines’  representatives — World Hip Hop-Championship 2009 varsity division held at Las Vegas USA. Audie is teaching Pop Concert Performance.
