Sarah, Cristine kiss & make up

Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson’s movie Catch Me…I’m In Love will soon hit the theaters. The other good news is that Sarah has patched things up with controversial actress Cristine Reyes. Sarah was the first to approach Cristine at the backstage of ASAP Rocks. “Matagal na matagal ko na siyang gustong makausap. Pagkatapos ng lahat ng gulo, gusto ko na talagang mag-sorry sa kanya,” she enthused.

 In The Buzz, Sarah narrated how the reconciliation with Cristine happened. “We were in a hurry. My makeup artist Len forgot the eyeliner inside the dressing room. My mother also took some stuff there. Lumabas siya, tapos nandiyan si Cristine so sabi ko, puntahan ko na.”

“I took the eyeliner and just in time, Cristine was about to leave the room, nagkatinginan kami. Pero parang umiiwas pa siya. I called her name. Sabi ko, ‘Cristine.’ And she was surprised. Siyempre may takot din ako na kung tatanggapin kaya niya o masasaktan kaya ako? And I embraced her. Then I said, Cristine I have no intention of hurting you.” According to Sarah, Cristine became teary eyed and apologized to her and to her mommy Divine. “And I also told her na, ‘Cristine, naiintindihan kita. In-love ka eh.’ Sabi ko, ‘Nangyari din sa akin yan noon.’ Napangiti siya,” she said.

Saying sorry from the heart can only make one a better and bigger person.

No kissing scene for Mariel

Mariel Rodriguez is not allowed to kiss on both her TV and movie projects. “Hindi naman masama ‘yon, kasi ako naman ang nagpipilit sa kanya na mag-trabaho. Gusto ko nga gumawa pa siya ng pelikula. Huwag lang makikipag-kissing scene sa iba. Hindi ko kaya ‘yon,” Robin said. Mariel and Robin have a movie Tum: My Pledge of Love scheduled to hit the theaters in April. It is about a couple’s unending love for each other. The movie was shot in India where Mariel and Robin got married. Robin said that he misses his wife now that Mariel is back in the hosting game with Happy, Yipee, Yehey!.

“Ako ang hari ni Mariel. Ngayon medyo hari pa rin kaya lang nabawasan. Panic yan pag gumigising na sa umaga. Ngayon nagbibilin na lang siya tulad ng tanghalian,” he said.

There is a tinge of sadness in both Mariel and Robin as they are still adjusting to their new schedules. “I would wake up and I would adjust to what he has to do for the day. But now I have something to do also. I feel that he needs me and I cannot be there. It’s killing me,” she explained.

Andi safe after accident

Andi Eigenmann was accidentally shot by her co-actor Martin del Rosario on the set of her teleserye, Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin. “Naipit kasi yong baril sa aming dalawa. Pag naiipit yong baril di mo makontrol. All of a sudden I heard a shot. Una, I didn’t know where it came from. Tapos nakita ko yong reaction ni Andi. Everyone panicked. Butas yong jacket, butas yong shirt. Hindi ko iniisip na mapuputok ko yon. Nakadikit pa kay Andi. Nangyari yong di ko gusto mangyari. Pumutok, diretso sa tagiliran ni Andi. Hindi ko sinasadya.”

Andi who suffered second-degree burn is now recuperating. This is how it happened according to Andi: “Kasama ko si Martin doon. Yuyuko kami sa ground para maka-block sa bullet. Siguro na-pull niya yong trigger. Tumama sa akin sideways. It was a blank bullet. Nag-freak out ako. Noong una ok lang ako. Pero ang sakit eh. Nararamdaman ko. Pero biglaan kaya di ako maka-react kasi nasa eksena kami. Tumayo ako, I cried so hard. I could not see the wound but I saw blood. Nakita ko yong butas, tapos baril yon, di ka ba matatakot?

Andi knew what happened was an accident. “I am fine now. It’s a wound and I know it would heal.” Martin also apologized to her immediately.

Director Darnel Joy Villafor in a statement said that both artists will resume taping next week. “What happened between Andi Eigenmann and Martin del Rosario on the set of Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin was purely an accident. Our actors are aware of the risks involved when doing action sequence on the show and their safety is always our priority. Andi has already been treated for minor injury, while Martin has apologized to Andi for the mishap.”
