Mel & Joey goes to Araneta Center

MANILA, Philippines - This week, GMA 7’s Mel & Joey hosts Mel Tiangco and Joey de Leon will hold a chikahan session with people who frequent the Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City.

In the segment Baligtaran, Mel & Joey presents very feminine Violeta Catindoy who works as a kargador and hunk Manuel Marquez who is a top fashion designer of women’s clothes. Both enjoy their work unmindful that other people might question their sexual preference.

Watch for Tibiao, Antique’s quack doctor Nanay Remedios in Weh, Wow Amazing, Eh as she shows her healing powers on air.

A one-day Art in the Park exhibit in Makati will be featured. Expensive works of art are sold in rock bottom or bagsak-presyo prices to the delight of art collectors. MJ features the exhibit in Juan Of A Kind.

For gourmets who opt for exotic-tasting dishes, a trip to Oriental Mindoro is recommended. The natives offer leche flan, salad and pancit canton made of the famous seaweed lato. Other things made of lato such as bath and laundry soaps will be displayed in Iba ‘To.
