PMTC presents recital concert

MANILA, Philippines - People’s Music Training Center (PMTC) will present its promising students in a recital concert dubbed Paligsahan sa Pag-Awit on March 6, 2 p.m. at Ever Gotesco Commonwealth Activity Center.

The concert will be directed by Rene Reyes, founder and president of PMTC. The panel of judges is composed of Mon del Rosario, Snaffu Rigor and Veronica Samio.

Participating students who trained under the Voice Development Course (Level 1) are Jhonavel Morante, Kathryn Anne Canales, Jayla Me Tagata, Mariezane Vitto and Andrea Ruth Apo.

The Most Outstanding Student will receive a three-foot trophy and recital certificate. Others will be chosen first, second and third runners-up and Best in Costume.

Other guests are Moneliza Tuazon, Asia’s Child Pop Star; Piolo Askal, 2003 Outstanding Student; Dennis Tan Chan, Zharmaine Antenor, and the 2010 awardees are Regine dela Peña, first runner-up; Marc Heron Antenor, second runner-up; and Rafael Richard Dar, Most Outstanding Student.

Paligsahan sa Pag-Awit is hosted by Nancy Ruth Calingasan, former segment producer of Unang Hirit and Mornings of GMA 7 and a freelance entertainment writer and Gina Laylo, executive officer from Mabuhay Homes Sub-Station Binangonan, Rizal.
