A political-thriller on Pinoy journalists

MANILA, Philippines - Lawyer Ariel Inton Jr is now producing the timely political thriller Deadline After the success of the indie film Ang Babae sa Sementeryo. After touching on sensitive socio-political issues in Ang Babae sa Sementeryo, which is scheduled to be shown abroad in film festivals, Inton now champions the cause of Filipino journalists in Deadline.

The story revolves around the dangers surrounding a journalist’s life. The film stars Allen Dizon, Lovi Poe, Tirso Cruz III, Ina Feleo, Jojo Brylle and Mon Confiado. If AEI’s Ang Babae sa Sementeryo thrilled the many who watched it, Deadline is sure to keep moviegoers at the edge of their seats. It is directed by Joel Lamangan, with Ben Ylagan as scriptwriter. Deadline will soon be shown in theaters.

Inton is also behind the Himig Ariel Singers, which is behind the hit song Sinusuyo Niyayakap from the CD Himig Ariel Batch 1, Inton says Himig Ariel is constantly open to young people who wish to be trained under Al Tarca, who heads the Boses Training Studio.
