Kiddie Triathlon competition
MANILA, Philippines - Get your kids started on a healthy and active lifestyle early. Have them join the Alaska Milk IronKids Philippines Series.
Alaska Milk IronKids Philippines lets your children participate in an enjoyable and healthy activity that provides positive feeling about themselves. Alaska IronKids Philippines inspires and teaches children to improve themselves in all endeavors of life by working hard and persevering.
Although inspired by the IronMan Triathlon competition, Alaska Milk IronKids Philippines is a series of swimming, biking and running events for the youth ranging in age from six to 14.
Alaska Milk IronKids Philippines is organized by Sunrise Events, Inc. headed by its president Wilfred Steven Uytengsu. The Alaska Milk IronKids Philippines follows the world-class Cobra Energy Drink Ironman 70.3 Philippines held in Camsur last August 2009. The Cobra Energy Drink Ironman 70.3 Philippines put our country on the map as a triathlon destination.
“We brought the IronKids here in the Philippines to inspire and motivate our youth to lead an active, positive and healthy lifestyle. IronKids provides them and their families with a weekend event experience that is educational, interactive and fun,” said Uytengsu.
Some of the regular participants are also part of the Alaska Ironkids Camp Series led by Coach Ani de Leon, a triathlete herself.
