A Hanep Valentine surprise

MANILA, Philippines - Love is in the air tomorrow at 7 a.m. as GMA 7’s Hanep Buhay hosts Chris Tiu and Love Añover prepare a hanep Valentine surprise for entre-Pinoys.

For the Bigayang Bayan segment, Love and Chris raid a small business owned by couple Juliet and Francis Frivaldo. Their partnership will be made sweeter by the special business makeover that Hanep Buhay prepared for them.

Married for the last 10 years, Juliet and Francis have seen their marriage through sickness and in health. Recently diagnosed with cervical dystonia, a disease that affects muscles and motor skills, Francis’ body has now shrunk and he’s having difficulty moving.  

But there’s no challenge that can keep the couple apart.  And despite their situation, the two have managed to put up their own sari-sari store. As a sweet Valentine surprise, Love will not only give them hanep tips on running their small business, but she’ll also shower them with tons of groceries as an early Valentine’s Day gift.

And then there’s Raymon Gabriel who started soap making as a backyard business in 1999. Through innovation and imagination, he managed to grow his business into Raychem Enterprises.

From a small team of eight, the enterprise is almost a hundred people strong. Because of Raymon’s dependable detergents, the business has been given the Most Outstanding Affordable Household Products Manufacturer Award by the Philippine Quality Awards for Business Excellence. Now, their business has branched out from all-around detergents to sweet smelling perfumes and spa products.
