Young JV returns to his hometown

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Young JV (photo) recently went back to his hometown Iloilo City to celebrate Dinagyang Festival with his kababayan.

Young JV entertained the crowd with his highly-charged performances onstage at SM City Iloilo Mall Show, SM Car Park Show, SouthPoint Show, Griller’s Bar in SmallVille and ASAP Rocks Dinagyang 2011 at the Iloilo Sports Complex.

Truly an Iloilo’s pride, Young JV continues making waves in the music industry. He recently added two awards in his growing list of achievements. Young JV won the Best Male Style Icon and Best Video (for his Can’t Get Enough song) in Wave 89.1’s Second Urban Music Awards which happened last Jan. 29 at Central Park, Eastwood City in Libis.

His debut album titled Ready or Not has now reached platinum status. The album is available in all record stores nationwide. It is distributed by PolyEast Records and produced by Doin’ It Big Production. Can’t get enough of Young JV’s songs? Then watch out for his next album which will be coming out soon.

2010 was a busy and memorable year for the young artist. He was the front act on the Quest Crew Live in Manila last Dec. 3, 4, 5 and on Supafest 2010.
