Songs, laughter & drama continue in Glee Season 2

MANILA, Philippines - Now halfway through Season 2, Glee continues to attract viewers with its mix of humor, drama and covers of catchy songs. Returning from its mid-season break, fans will be treated to two new episodes in one week as Glee premieres a special episode after this year’s Super Bowl as well as its Valentine’s episode this month on etc and Jack TV.

Today Glee presents a special episode called The Sue Sylvester Shuffle via satellite at 4 p.m. with a primetime telecast at 9 p.m. as Glee takes on Michael Jackson’s iconic song. The football-themed episode will see coach Bieste (Dot-Marie Jones) and Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) plot to bring the warring McKinley High football team and glee club together as well as Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) push her Cheerios to win the cheerleading Nationals. While on Feb. 9, via satellite at 4 p.m. with a primetime telecast at 9 p.m., love is in the air as Glee offers a pre-Valentines day episode titled Silly Love Songs.

Glee Season 2 also stars Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Kevin McHale, Chris Colfer, Jenna Ushkowitz, Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Heather Morris and Naya Rivera. Filipino fans of Glee will also be excited to tune in for the return of Sunshine Corazon, lead singer of rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline as played by Charice.

Glee won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical for the second year in a row at the recently-concluded awards show. Glee, seen first in the Philippines on etc and Jack TV also scored big wins for Jane who won Best Performance by an Actress and Chris for Best Performance by an Actor in a supporting role.
